Xena is an Anatolian/Pyrenees cross at almost precisely 50/50 according to the Embark genetic testing. As a part of our breeding program, she was bonded to sheep before arrival and has been fantastic ever since with any ground predation. Xena lives up to her “Warrior Princess” name sake when trouble arrives. She has been health checked and PinHIPP checked without issues. Xena’s temperament is to strongly rebuff strangers however once they are introduced, she has no problems getting some attention. Xena resides in small pastures (less than an acre) and has not jumped fences or crawled through any gates. We haven’t lost any animal with her attentiveness.
