Kass - We lost him in December of 2025 just after his breeding to Xena to bone cancer.

Anatolian/Pyrenees cross with a dash of Spanish Mastiff in his lineage according to the Embark genetic testing. Part of our breeding program, he was bonded to our Nubian Goats and was an amazing guardian for both ground-based and aerial predation. Kass would not allow anything larger than a crow in the vicinity.

Kass had the right temperament, wary of strangers however warmed up once we complete introductions. He had excelled in small pastures (less than an acre) and didn’t jump fences. We hadn’t lost a single animal with him on the job, he will be difficult to replace and will be sorely missed.
